Practical guide for installing VC Metal Decor Fence Panels & Inserts on wooden or composite surfaces, achieving a secure and professional finish.
1. Pre-drill the Screw Holes
Using a drill, make pilot holes at each marked location on the wooden frame, ensuring the drill bit size is slightly smaller than the screw diameter.
This will help align the insert correctly and prevent the wood from splitting during installation.
2. Attach Insert Privacy Screen
Place the metal insert privacy screen against the wooden frame, aligning the screw holes with the pre-drilled holes.
Use the screwdriver to attach the metal insert privacy screen to the wooden frame using the screws provided.

1. Align and Mark Screw Holes
To ensure a seamless installation, begin by carefully aligning the PRIVACY SCREEN FENCE PANEL with the wooden frame. Make sure each screw hole on the panel perfectly matches its intended location on the frame.
Once everything is lined up precisely, use a pencil or marker to transfer the exact location of these screw holes onto the wooden frame.
2. Secure the Privacy Screen Panel
Position the privacy screen so that the face of the “L” aligns with the centerline of the post. Measure the height of the screen according to your preference.
Then, insert the 16 provided screws through the marked holes and tighten them with a screwdriver, ensuring they are snug but not overtightened to avoid damage.
